Our family life is most important
to us. We strive to provide a stable, loving, happy
environment for our child. We both grew up in
those types of homes and we continue to enjoy
great relationships with our extended family.
Al's father passed away but his mom, two of his sisters
and their families live close to us. His older
sister lives in Kansas with her family but we talk
and visit often. Linda's parents and her brother
and his family also live close by. Our nieces
and nephews total 8 and range from infant to adult so
there are plenty of cousins around. We are always
getting together for holidays, birthdays or for no
reason at all! Everyone was thrilled when
Annika joined our family through
open adoption. They love her dearly and
are looking forward to expanding their hearts to another child. |

We live in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. Although our house is located within the city boundries, it
is in a suburban-like setting,
allowing us the best of both worlds. We have a yard complete
with flowering trees, a vegetable garden (that always has
too many tomato plants!), child swing, slide and sand
box but Al can also get to work
easily and we can go to attractions like
the zoo, Pirate games and Penquin games. There is a wonderful park nearby
where we are often walking Moxie and pushing Annika
on the swings. We are close to a water
park and Kennywood, a great amusement
park that we grew up enjoying.
We are very anxious to
ride the rides and enjoy the cotton candy with our children. |
