We commend you on considering adoption. Since Annika came to us through an open adoption, we know that together we can make this a situation that is best for all of us and most especially for the child you are carrying. We married in 1998 on a beach in Kauai. Our relationship is based on a strong respect for ourselves and for each other. We try to live each day to the fullest, to experience as much of life as we can and most of all, to be happy. It is under these types of values that we plan to raise our children. Families are formed in many ways and adoption is at the heart of ours. Even Moxie was adopted from the shelter. Life has not allowed us to conceive a child and we are not interested in pursuing fertlity treatments. And it may be that our roads led us to this point so that we could meet.
